At the end of this session, the participants will be able to:
1. Identify the anatomy of the pulmonary/respiratory system.
2. Define the clinical manifestations of Respiratory insufficiency and Respiratory Failure.
3. Discuss the indications for Non-Invasive Positive Pressure Ventilation.
4. Recognize clinical indications for NIV- CPaP and BiPaP.
5. Compare Pressure Targeted vs Volume Targeted Ventilation modes.
6. Distinguish indications for both Volume and Pressure Targeted modes of ventilation.
7. Elaborate on Lung Mechanics and monitoring/correcting through the ventilator.
8. Demonstrate making ventilation changes in the ventilator.
