This interactive, hands-on workshop will give participants the opportunity to practice essential pediatric EMS skills under expert guidance. Through rotating skill stations, attendees will gain confidence in four critical areas of pediatric care: Basic Airway Management in Children: Perform airway assessment, select appropriately sized equipment, and practice effective bag-valve-mask (BVM) ventilation. Safe Transportation of Kids: Learn how to securely transport children of all sizes using a variety of pediatric restraint devices. Intraosseous (IO) Needle Placement: Refine the technique of IO insertion and practice methods for maintaining device stability in the field. Spinal Motion Restriction in Children: Review indications for spinal and cervical motion restriction, explore equipment options, and practice skills for safe and effective immobilization.
