Kelsey Carlson, BA, NRP, is a full-time Paramedic Faculty member at Waukesha County Technical College with more than a decade of experience educating EMS professionals in academic and operational settings. Throughout her career, she has taught EMTs, Advanced EMTs, Paramedics, and EMS leaders while developing programs focused on clinical judgment, leadership development, and workforce readiness.

Prior to joining WCTC full-time, Kelsey served in leadership and organizational development roles, leading large-scale learning and workforce development initiatives for a multi-state corporations. Her work included designing leadership academies, mentoring programs, onboarding systems, and employee development strategies.

Kelsey also brings more than 20 years of experience in fire and emergency medical services, including service in busy metropolitan EMS systems. She is passionate about helping providers move beyond memorization to develop the critical thinking, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills needed for success in today's EMS environment.
