Jason Selwitschka, BS, CCEMTP, is a seasoned emergency medical and hospital preparedness leader with over three decades of experience in EMS, trauma systems, and disaster response. Currently serving as a Regional Emergency Management Officer for Ascension/Medxcel in Wisconsin, Jason has guided preparedness efforts for large-scale hospital networks, coordinated inter-agency disaster drills, and led training across clinical and administrative teams.
He is the co-founder of Medics Wisconsin, a licensed non-transporting ALS provider, and previously held EMS coordination roles with ThedaCare, supporting seven hospitals and multiple EMS agencies. His past leadership includes managing pediatric care initiatives through Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and directing regional trauma and COVID vaccine distribution programs for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
