Rick Binder is the CEO of PHASE, Patient Handling and Safety Experts, and has held 13 certifications from NAEMT, FEMA, and NFPA. He began his career as an EMT-I and a few years later joined his father in bringing the Binder Lift to market in 2013. In the years since, Rick has authored a Prehospital Patient Handling Risk Assessment, produced an accredited Prehospital Safe Patient Handling Course, and developed new products that help emergency care providers avoid patient handling related injuries.
