Nancy Magee, NREMT, EMSI, CIC, has been active in EMS for 26 years as a volunteer EMT, career AEMT, AHA and EMS instructor, Field Training Supervisor, and Director of Marketing and Client Relations for an EMS management service organization. She also brings 35 years of experience as a self-employed business owner and consultant, combining marketing expertise and leadership perspective with a volunteer’s heart.
Nancy is a nationally recognized subject matter expert on volunteer EMS. Her workshop series, “Redesigning Volunteer EMS – A Volunteer Survival Guide,” has been presented nationwide, helping volunteer EMS agencies address fiscal, leadership, recruitment, and retention challenges.
As Managing Partner, content developer, educator, and consultant for MEDIC Solutions LLC, Nancy supports volunteer and rural EMS agencies with training, consulting, and advocacy. She is the author of “Redesigning Volunteer EMS,” featured on EMS1.com, and host of the weekly “Redesigning Volunteer EMS” podcast. Her published work includes contributions to Paramedic Care: Principles and Practices by Dr. Bryan Bledsoe. Nancy is a Nationally Registered EMT, NAEMT instructor, and licensed EMS provider in Connecticut, Louisiana, and New York. She holds EMS instructor credentials at the EMR/EMT level in Louisiana and is a Certified Instructor Coordinator at the BLS level in New York State, with consulting offices in Connecticut and Upstate New York.
In addition to consulting and presenting her Volunteer Survival Series workshops, Nancy teaches live, virtual, and hybrid EMR and EMT courses, with a first-time National Registry pass rate exceeding 90%. She also offers continuing education for rural first responders and volunteers at all levels, both in the U.S. and internationally.
