Vawn Taylor, BSN, RN, CEN, CFRN, NRP, has dedicated more than two decades to emergency medical services as a paramedic, emergency nurse, military medic, and flight nurse. Her experience spans volunteer, career, hospital, and aeromedical settings, providing a broad perspective on the challenges faced by providers across the continuum of emergency care. An EMS educator and conference speaker, Vawn is passionate about translating complex clinical concepts into practical lessons that providers can immediately apply in the field. Her professional interests include rural EMS, critical care transport, patient safety, human factors, and provider development. Whether teaching clinical topics or sharing lessons learned from real-world practice, her goal is to help EMS professionals deliver safer, more effective patient care. Vawn lives with her husband and three daughters on a farm near Tilden, Nebraska.
