Nick Ferro is an EMT with 25 years of EMS experience ranging from private ambulance service to volunteer fire department to TV filming and working with professional sports teams. He started as an EMT in Seattle in 2001. Instead of going to medic school he went to the dark side of training and operations becoming an EMS supervisor in 2007. At 30 he went to the UK to attend the University of South Wales achieving a BA with Honors in Public Services Management and an MSc in Global Governance. He returned to the US in 2018 taking a job as a civilian contractor with DC Fire and EMS. In 2020 he started a role as the Emergency Planning Specialist for the DC Office of the Chief Medical Examiner where he was the Fatality Management Branch Chief during the COVID pandemic response as well as for the 2021 Presidential Inauguration. In 2021 took a position with Digitech, assigned to work with the Philadelphia Fire Department and DC Fire and EMS, with one of his primary roles being training and instructional development.
