Traci Tauferner is an athletic trainer/strength coach and the Director of Advanced Tactical Medicine, specializing in strength, conditioning, and injury prevention for EMS and other public safety professionals. With nearly 20 years of experience, she has trained and supported thousands of EMS providers, firefighters, law enforcement officers, and military personnel, helping them build the physical resilience required for demanding operational environments. A Wisconsin Army National Guard veteran and recipient of the prestigious Sergeant Audie Murphy Award, Traci brings a tactical, performance-driven approach to workforce health. She is also the 2025 World Federation of Athletic Training & Therapy Trailblazer Award winner, recognized internationally for advancing human performance in public safety and occupational settings. Traci is has extensive experience in load management, mobility training, tactical fitness, and job-specific performance preparation. Her mission is clear: to equip first responders with practical, science-backed strategies that improve strength, prevent injuries, and sustain long, healthy careers.
