Assistant Chief Corey Johnson serves the City of Williston Fire Department in North Dakota. As Assistant Chief of Operations, he oversees the operations of four fire-based EMS stations. He has been active in public safety since 2007, when he first joined a volunteer fire department in Du Bois, PA. Chief Johnson has 17 years of experience in emergency services and is currently an EMS Instructor Coordinator in North Dakota for entry-level EMS programs and the state coordinator for NAEMT training programs such as PHTLS and TCCC programs. Chief Johnson is actively part of the Williams County Hazardous Materials Response Team and the North Dakota Incident Management Support Team. Before accepting his position in Williston, he was a Paramedic Supervisor for a regional ALS service in western Pennsylvania and was a team member of the Pennsylvania EMS Strike Team.
