Description
Opioid overdoses are only one piece of the toxicology puzzle. EMS providers frequently encounter complex or mixed-drug overdoses where Narcan alone isn’t enough. This session uses case-based discussion to explore assessment strategies, recognition of toxidromes, and ALS management considerations for common and dangerous overdose scenarios. Emphasis will be placed on real-world prehospital interventions, pharmacology review, and clinical decision-making to improve patient outcomes.
