Dr. David Lewis is an interventional cardiologist who has practiced in Madison for 24 years. A Waukesha native, he earned his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Iowa, and went on to fellowships in cardiovascular diseases at the Cleveland Clinic and in interventional cardiology in Kansas City. He serves as Director of Interventional Cardiology at UnityPoint Health-Meriter and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. His practice is split between performing scheduled and emergent invasive cardiac procedures (about 60%) and seeing patients in clinic (about 40%). He is married and has three grown children.
