Dr. Rudolph Bescherer, Jr., D.O., FACOEP, began his EMS career as a volunteer in the early 1990s. He has since worked in the field in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, with experience ranging from BLS 9-1-1 and transport work to medical direction, medical command, and serving as a flight physician with UW Med Flight. He is board-certified in emergency medicine and currently practices as an independent emergency physician. Outside of medicine, his interests run from bagpipes to big rigs, electronics, and scuba instruction, and he enjoys spending time with his four-pawed children.
