Diane Glick, MSN, ACNP-BC, ANVC-BC, is a critical care nurse practitioner with over 22 years of nursing experience, including 13 years as a nurse practitioner and 12 years dedicated specifically to neuro critical care. She began her career as a paramedic before transitioning into nursing, and currently practices as a Neuro Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner at Endeavor Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL, where she provides frontline care for stroke alerts, acute stroke management, and neurosurgical and epilepsy monitoring patients. Diane previously led the NeuroInterventional Surgery and Stroke program at Ascension Brain and Spine, where she helped maintain the hospital's comprehensive stroke center designation and developed a 30-vendor stroke symposium to expand patient access to community resources. She currently serves as the Illinois State Stroke Advisory EMS Committee Region IX Representative, liaising between regional and state stroke advisory subcommittees to align EMS and hospital stroke protocols. Diane holds board certifications in acute care and advanced neurovascular nursing, is NIHSS and Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN) certified, and is an active member of AACN, AAN, AANN, and SVIN.
