Mobile Integrated Health programs across Wisconsin have proven for years how beneficial it is to be able to provide compassionate, accessible care that empowers people to be safe, healthy, and supported in the environments where they feel most comfortable. Milwaukee County Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) is a community focused program designed to meet people where they are, both physically and in their healthcare journey. This county-wide program includes a team of four certified Community Paramedics and a licensed social worker. Since historically, adding a social worker to MIH teams hasn't typically been the standard, this interactive session will focus on our team's experience with building this role and what it looks like in action through the use of case studies.
