We tend to think of 'small town' Wisconsin as simple. Easy going farmers who won't come in for care until they are nearing their death beds and don't expect the most life saving, expensive tools in our top-hat full of tricks. But on the far spectrum of this lay the Amish communities. This presentation will discuss religious beliefs and lifestyle that will challenge your ethical decision making and arm you with unique perspectives to help you navigate these conversations. We also will discuss common genetic illnesses present in the local Amish communities while debunking some common myths.
