Pediatric emergencies are high-stakes, low-frequency events that can challenge even experienced EMS providers. This interactive, hands-on workshop is designed specifically for BLS providers to build confidence and competence in essential pediatric skills. Participants will rotate through five small-group stations (maximum of 10 learners per station), each focused on high-yield, practical interventions: airway management, respiratory support, anaphylaxis recognition and treatment, safe pediatric transport, and cervical spine/spinal motion restriction. Each station emphasizes simple, effective techniques that can be immediately applied in the field, using case-based scenarios and skill repetition to reinforce learning. This session prioritizes hands-on practice, team-based learning, and practical decision-making to help providers manage pediatric patients safely and efficiently.
