Description

Obstetrics strikes fear the hearts and minds of many skilled prehospital providers, with even a mention of it causing perspiration to increase.  However, this need not be the case.  With improved education, understanding, and clinical practice, these cases can be handled with skill and compassion.  Through a combination of real-world insight, current evidence, and practical experiences, this presentation will aim to provide an overview of obstetrical emergencies, with recommendations for best practices and clinical pearls.
