Documentation, Billing & Compliance Symposium for Service Directors
What can providers do to better work with our facility customers who may not understand our regulatory requirements. We will review the important compliance components of non‐emergency documentation and will discuss the essential elements of compliant non-emergency billing. This lively session will discuss the "soup to nuts" needs of the modern non-emergency organization to provide quality patient care and maintain good relations with our important facility customers.
When a critical patient is in a small ER which does not have the physician or services the patient needs, is the trip to a better resourced facility an emergency? Often rural ground transports need to connect with air providers ‐ we discuss what needs to be noted in trip reports for those type of trips.
