Paul Vilar RN

Paul Vilar joined Aurora Health Care in 2007 as a Registered Nurse and currently serves as the System Stroke Program Director for Aurora Health Care WI hospitals. With over a decade of experience managing stroke programs across a range of settings, Paul has played a key role in developing and overseeing stroke care for 16 hospitals, including implementing a comprehensive telestroke program. He has extensive experience with stroke certifications, having participated in nearly 100 stroke reviews and surveys for various accreditation bodies. Paul also serves on multiple regional and national committees, including the Milwaukee Board for the American Heart Association and the Wisconsin Stroke Coalition, where he contributes to advancing stroke care standards and practices.
