John Kiser

Department of Homeland Security

John Kiser is the Jurisdictional Coordinator for the Department of Homeland Security BioWatch program for the Milwaukee and Chicago jurisdictions. John has a diverse public safety background, he is a former fire chief in suburban Chicago, a long-standing member of Illinois MABAS HAZMAT and dive teams, and is a licensed paramedic and lead EMS instructor. Additionally, John works part time as a Lieutenant on a suburban fire department, a program coordinator at the regional fire academy in Romeoville, Illinois, and is adjunct faculty with Morton Community College. He holds numerous credentials including his Chief Fire Officer (CFO), Illinois Professional Emergency Manager (IPEM), FEMA Professional Development Series (PDS) and holds numerous degrees including a Masters in Public Administration.
