Collin Hofschulte

Medical Coordinator & Fire Instructor, Duluth (MN) Fire Department

Collin Hofschulte is a career firefighter and instructor for the City of Duluth, Minnesota. He provides EMS training and education to over 135 EMT's & Paramedic's as the department's Medical Coordinator. Collin has been serving in various EMS-related roles since the age of 16; beginning as a first responder, then as an EMT with Mayo Clinic Ambulance, and then as a Paramedic with Mayo Clinic Ambulance and Cloquet Area Fire District. Collin began teaching as a paramedic preceptor for Mayo Clinic Ambulance, but currently is a fire instructor II for Fire Instruction & Rescue Education (FIRE Inc.) and Duluth Fire Department. Collin has received formal education from Mayo Clinic School & Health Sciences in their Emergency Medicine Paramedic program. Additionally, he holds an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from Riverland Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Fire Administration (BS) degree from Columbia Southern University, and is nearing completion a Master of Science (MS) degree at Columbia Southern University in Fire Executive Leadership with a concentration in Human Resource Management.
